Mobile Apps discussed at Oct. 15 Tech Talk Tuesdays event
Tallahassee, Florida (October 4, 2013) – Tallahassee area entrepreneurs, association executives, residents and professionals interested in learning more about mobile apps will have an opportunity to hear insight from a Tallahassee-based mobile app developer during a free session at Lively Technical Center on Oct. 15 beginning at 3:30 p.m.
“Mobile Apps: What Are They and Do I Need One?” is the second in a monthly series of free technology information and discussions, Tech Talk Tuesdays, hosted by Lively Technical Center and sponsored by Tallahassee-based Reciprocate LLC. Tech Talk Tuesdays events are free and open to the public; registration is encouraged. App Innovators President Dustin Rivest is this month’s featured presenter.
“In this Tech Talk Tuesdays session, I’ll get attendees up to speed on what it takes to go mobile and what Apple and Android are looking for in apps today,” said Rivest. Rivest will also discuss mobile apps from the users’ viewpoint, including an explanation of the “little things” you need to understand when downloading apps.

Dustin Rivest is the president of App Innovators, a Tallahassee-based app development firm which has published more than 100 apps in the past year in more than 20 industries. App Innovators has created numerous apps for clients across the country including Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Billy Ray Cyrus, Hotel Duval, Front Porch restaurant, Tobacco Rd band, and numerous local educational institutions including Lively Technical Center and TCC.
Tallahassee’s LTC – Tech Talk Tuesdays provide a monthly opportunity for technology education. The practical use of technologies and online tools are discussed by industry experts with time for audience participation and Q&A. Tech Talk Tuesdays are sponsored by Tallahassee-based marketing and technology consulting company Reciprocate LLC and hosted by Lively Technical Center.
